Govt honours Alotau Accord commitments

THE government has allocated K753 million as per the Alotau Accord commitments through the development budget.
The budget presentation by the secretary for treasury department Simon Tosali indicated that the following amounts of money were allocated through the development budget for mostly infrastructure maintenance and design work throughout the country.
He said the appropriation was an additional budget allocation to the K200 million given by the government earlier.
