Govt must address rising inflation

GOVERNMENT must identify areas that have direct influence on the rise of inflation and assist subsidise the cost.
The cost of living is in a worrying state.
The current hardship people face today is not the want of magnificent building, flyovers, non-economic infrastructure or funding of sporting events.
The situation at hand is the high cost of living putting immense pressure on ordinary people.
Prices of basic household necessities continue to rise. It’s reaping people’s pockets.
Government is trying its best to fix things but they must do more to get to the bottom of the inflation issue.
There are many factors causing inflation. But if companies and supermarkets are passing the value-added costs down to the consumers, why can’t the government assist businesses struggling with costs of imports?
This is one area that the government can help.
