Govt should increase teachers’ salaries too

IF the Government can pay for students’ fees, why not increase teachers’ salaries as well?
Teachers are the engine room, the implementers to fulfill the vision of the Education minister and secretary.
Teachers in other parts of the world are highly paid yet teachers in Papua New Guinea are paid very low.
When will someone listen to their cries for better benefits and entitlements?
They are forced to sacrifice a lot because they borrow a lot to meet the cost of living.
How will they perform if they are not well taken care of financially?
The Government needs to consider this and increase their salaries.
The country will fall soon because teachers might not give their best to students because they are not taken care of properly.
We will be degraded and undermined by foreigners because we are not taking good care of our teachers.
Increase teachers’ pay.
