Grand Papua Hotel scoops international ‘luxury hotel’ award

THE Grand Papua Hotel in Port Moresby has been selected as the winner of the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2019.
Hotel manager Sean Hillman said: “It is a prestigious milestone for the hotel to be recognised as a luxury hotel providing world-class products and services.
The first award was in 2015 in the continental category.
“We continue to put pride in giving our guests reasons for coming back not only to Grand Papua but also to Papua New Guinea and Port Moresby.
“This award is dedicated to all our employees and guests.”
It is the fifth year running for Grand Papua Hotel to have entered and won a prestigious Award from the World Luxury Hotel awards.
The World Luxury Hotel Awards recognises and celebrates the luxury hotel industry worldwide, with votes cast by travellers, guests and industry players.
Grand Papua Hotel is located in Port Moresby’s central business district and offers 161 luxury rooms and suites.
The hotel was built in 2011 and continues to provide a high standard in its products and services for the business traveller and corporate guests who want an upscale hotel experience with friendly service.
It boasts a luxury setting with the Grand Brasserie, Grand Bar and Grand Café, Grand Spa, the executive lounge located on the 15th floor and well located conference rooms.
