A GRADUATES Network recently donated five cartons of educational books to World Vision, a non-government organisation that provides basic services to communities in conjunction with the government.

PNG Tertiary Students Christian Fellowship (TSCF) director Tom Lepatu said: “We want to see many children and young people impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ so we are making it available for churches to use as part of their outreach programmes.

“Our hope is to see a literate community who are competent to take PNG forward into her destiny,” he said.

Lepatu said, “educating a child was critical and we believe that if we can collaborate with such organisations like World Vision”.

He said the organisation was in the forefront of development in rural communities to improve the general well being of the people is a step in the right direction to see transformation in PNG.

Christian commitment officer Pastor Agnes Pinjui and her staff from World Vision were at the welcoming to collect the books to distribute them to their officers in their respective project sites throughout the country.
