Haiveta wants resource projects to start

GULF Governor Chris Haiveta has called on the Government to finalise talks on resource projects such as the P’nyang gas project in Western.
Haiveta said this would help landowner companies continue operating during times such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I ask the Government to come to an agreement and let’s move P’nyang forward,” he said.
“The sooner the Government reaches an agreement, the sooner it will free up money and keep operations, like Hevilift, going.”
Hevilift Ltd is a subsidiary of the Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) and carries out operation in the mining, oil and gas resource provinces ..
“The Government must provide the investment climate on projects,” he said.
