INSTEAD of thinking about sky rail for Port Moresby let us fix our public transport system.
The PMV system needs a lot of work on getting it organised to be conducive for a capital city.
Why do I say this?
Among many other reasons, try driving around in the city.
The number of traffic rules that get broken, the inconsiderate attitude of the PMV drivers and you can throw the taxis into the mix in this area.
It is more about them; they are a ‘special breed’ and privileged, it seems that common sense is not common to them.
Please let us have an authority that they can report to and help them with some education on how to follow traffic rules.
Many of them have never been taken through traffic rules or had consideration for fellow human beings.
Don’t ask me why. You can come up with your own reasons and they are most likely to be not far off the mark.
