A HARDWARE supplier in Arawa town has donated a water tank to a school in South Bougainville.
Bougainville Agrotech Limited managing director Kim Aumora said the company was happy to help the St Peter and Paul Kulula Primary School, one of the least developed in Buin district.
“We’ve been helping schools and churches in the rural areas when they come and see us for their needs,” Aumora said.
“We’re open and if their needs are genuine, we open our hands to help. We’re are a company that would like as much as possible to help our future generation.
“And schools are the places we offer our help to.”
Aumora handed over the “Tasman Tank” to Kulula Primary School representative Elijah Bambaru.
“To date there is no water tank in the school and teachers and students are finding it really difficult fetching water from the nearby Lulibai River,” Bambaru said.
Bambaru thanked Bougainville Agro Limited for such a timely and generous donation.
He said the water tank would benefit not only the school but all the people in Wisai because access to clean water is rare in the area.
