THE Government has opened 79 hospitals and clinics in 16 provinces to conduct Covid-19 swabbing tests.
National Pandemic Response Controller David Manning said the facilities would be accessible to families, individuals, business houses, organisations and expatriates.
“We want to make sure these facilities conduct tests and that people know these hospitals and clinics are open to them,” Manning said.

  • Madang is a big province, yet we have only one COVID 19 Testing facility in town. Have one or more established in each of the 6 districts of the Province: Bogia, Sumkar, Raicost, Middle Ramu, Usino Bundi and Madang District. The Facility at Modilon is for the entire Province.

    • Our hospital in NIP is just closed. My father is now 2 weeks overdue for a surgery on his arm. He is in constant pain. What is being done to ensure that our peoples medical needs are being met.

  • While our national is gearing up to control/combat the surge in Covid19, we should ideally encourage our people to build resilience against the invading virus by eating garden produced foods, and encourage uptake of vitamin C (oranges are excellent source) and vitamin D (exposure in the sun) at least to beep up the body defence,
