Health secretary

THE call by the secretary of the National Doctors Association for Health secretary Pascoe Kase to be replaced must be actioned by the Marape-Steven Government.
Kase, as the head of the Health Department, must be replaced for failing to address serious national health issues like cancer, health manpower shortage and medical drug shortages and many more.
He is a lawyer and has been in the wrong department for too long.
In many other countries in the world, only health professional are appointed to the secretary’s position because health is a highly specialised and technical field.
If the health indicators and health plans are not working then the head must go.
