ON behalf of the silent majority  of Hela, especially the Komo-Margarima constituent, I would like to salute and congratulate MP Francis Potape for his outstanding leadership in the province.

Potape has been in parliament for two consecutive terms and is strong enough to deliver basic services in that time.

He did his best to give back what belonged to the people and continues to do so.

Hence, Komo-Margarima is a role model in terms  of development for all districts in Hela.

Potape delivers quality services to the lives of the people, including those at the outmost part of the world in Mt Bosavi.

He constructed multiple national and new feeder roads and bridges, erected new district offices, with hardworking staff to monitor the effectiveness of service delivery, built new school buildings and funded rundown churches.

These are some of the milestone achievements during his term of leadership.

He also constructed the latest f our health centres in all respective zones of the  districts and established the new market.

These are core basic services and are all at the people’s doorsteps, who get to enjoy them and possibly improve their living standards.

As I am not from his electorate, but  nearest to it, I have seen such performances and really admire such leadership qualities.

I humbly applaud Potape for his outstanding leadership.

With the economic boom in the country, he has accumulated sufficient funds and has contributed immensely to his district and Hela as a whole.

May his leadership legacy be resembled and imitated by all Hela MPs and elites to develop the recently independent province.

He is a genuine, visionary leader  and  I  highly recommend Potape as a one of the leaders of the country to illuminate the real light of development on the ground towards change.
