Help stand against racism

Letters

RACISM is the belief that people’s qualities are influenced by their race and that members of other races are not as good as your own, or resulting in unfair treatment of others.
In Papua New Guinea, we are a single race country so we live in unity.
Sadly our brothers and sisters from others parts of the world are caught in the web of racism.
There are solutions that we can do to eradicate racism.
The international human rights movement has created a world in which slavery, genocide, apartheid, and segregation were repudiated and, with the adoption of the international convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination, racial discrimination is prohibited.
Racism remains a barbaric and pervasive truth for many people and is under acknowledged human rights violation of our day.
We can contribute to eradicating racism.
I want to appeal to our beloved Prime Minister James Marape to be more vocal on racism during the United Nations general assembly meeting in New York.
There are lot of racism that Papua New Guinea can speak up against.
It is time Prime Minister James Marape come hard on racism.
