Honeywell brings high-tech gear to summit

AN international company that produces a variety of commercial and consumer products, engineering services and aerospace systems displayed its products during the Petroleum and Energy summit in Port Moresby. Honeywell field service manager Antonio Gonzales displayed the Honeywell Connected Plant which is an operating framework that turns data into actionable insight by integrating process, assets and people to optimise operations.
“You have the physical equipment in the plant, but this is simulating those piece of equipment. So this is a way to train people,” he said. It is providing its services to LNG operator ExxonMobil.
“We provide services to Oil Search as well. Oil Search has similar systems as well,” Gonzales said
