Hotel owner wants markets improved
AGRICULTURE sector industries in East New Britain need to work with the East New Britain Market Authority to improve markets.
A longtime resident of Rabaul town and owner of Rabaul Hotel, Susan McGrade, said markets needed to be a good income earner for everyone.
McGrade said well-maintained markets and vendors selling a variety of local fresh produce would see more people including locals and tourists go to them.
Therefore, the East New Britain market aAuthority must had to ensure vendors, especially women, were empowered to do well for themselves and their families.
