Hualupmomi to resume deputy secretary role

HIGHER Education Minister Don Polye says Francis Hualupmomi will now take on his substantive position as deputy secretary for the Department of Higher Education Research Science and Technology (Dherst).
“I’m very proud of Dr Hualupmomi who is very competent and very good young man who had been working faithfully and submissively as an acting secretary with the policy of Government under my leadership as minister,” he said.
Polye made the remarks after Fr Jan Czuba was reinstated as Dherst secretary as per a court order.
Polye said reunion between two departmental heads were sign of maturity and a civilised behavior between Czuba and Hualupmomi.
“Fr Czuba and I have agreed in principal that I provide political leadership and he provides professional leadership in the department to develop and work with the younger generation in the department,” he said.
