HUNTERS coach is adamant there will not be any complacency when his side takes on the Tweed Heads Seagulls on Sunday.
The minor premiership maybe in the bag plus a week off during the opening playoff fixtures but the SP-sponsored side have a score to settle with the Gulls.
They were upset 14-10 at home in round 15 and the Hunters itching for the get square which would cap off their season nicely heading into the finals.
Facing wooden spoon favourites Tweed Heads at the Piggabeen Stadium Marum is not looking to take the foot off the gas and named the best possible side.
“We want to finish off the competition strong with a win to boost our confidence going into the finals,” Marum said.
“They came up here in round 15 and beat us and we need to play well and get the two points and we know we can do that.”
“The Tweed lost last weekend but they are going to be tough in front of their home crowd because it is going to be their last game of the season and their coach is leaving their club after this season and no doubt they will have a lot to play for,” Marum said.
Stanton Albert misses the game with a one-match suspension for striking Wynnum Manly prop Billy Solah with an forearm but will be available for the finals.
