THE Institute of Business Studies (IBS) is encouraging its casual staff to open accounts with Bank of South Pacific.
This is to enrich and improve the lives of its staff who have never tried saving money by using a bank account.
IBS marketing manager Jennitha Japhetz, said they were “adding value” to employees.
“Most of the casual staff are the ones that had no chances in life to privileges like a bank account,” Japhetz said.
Japhetz said they now know the value of saving and management.
“They now know the value of saving and management which they will carry a long way with pride because only now BS has given that to them.”
Institute of Business Studies staff Tala Kiro, now a new Bank of South Pacific account holder, was among those who had their bank accounts opened.
He was excited when learning about mobile banking and how convenient it was for users.
The staff are now registered to enjoy Bank of South Pacific’s mobile banking services which are cheaper than normal counter transactions. They were educated on how to use mobile banking.
