Illegal Waigani to Morata route

IT is very annoying to see an illegal route created by the PMV drivers from Waigani TST to Morata and passengers being charged K1.
This route often starts in the afternoon at around 3pm and carries on until 6pm.
The normal bus fare from Waigani, in front of Shop N Stop, to Morata is between 30t and 40t.
But recently, some bus drivers stopped operating this route and opted for Waigani TST to Morata and charged passengers K1 each.
This route is illegal and has not been approved by the National PMV Board.
The poor passengers have no choice but are forced to pay K1 just to reach home on time.
Most of these buses are not properly registered and are not roadworthy.
Can the relevant authorities step in and address this problem?
