Incomplete projects

Letters

MAPRIK has somewhat lost direction and a clear vision of where it is heading.
This is evident in many half-done projects and programmes that are incomplete or not successful.
Maprik MP has to be sensitive to the people and listen to the criticism of the people as to how they see him.
The drive questions to help create district priorities and direction should be; what are we doing in our district that promotes a safe, healthy, wealthy, prosperous and educated society?
Do we have schools/health centres and roads in the rural areas?
How are they functioning?
It would be better if the MP would come to the district, bring the districts’ political leaders and the public service officers together, hold meetings and find out the felt needs of the people.
There should be frequent and regular electoral visits and discussions with the leaders so that they are motivated to implement the priorities that arise from the meetings between the leaders and the MP.
