Increase in bus fare affecting people

THE increase in bus fares have affected students and some workers.
The National Capital District is experiencing increases in bus fare.
PMV buses are now charging K2 for the Gerehu-Gordon route.
The previous fare stood at K1.
Those travelling from Gerehu to 4-Mile are charged K2.
Buses from the Gordon-8-Mile route charge K2 as well.
With the increase in the cost of goods and services, families are struggling to ensure students go to school and those who are working are able to get to work without putting a strain on their budget.
Can the responsible authorities do something about it?
