Infant among 5 ticket winners

AN infant was among five lucky winners of PNG Air free tickets to any destination in the country.
Fourteen-month-old Silver Fred’s name was drawn by the airline for its fifth anniversary of operations.
Acting chief commercial officer Nancy Nakikus, when announcing the winners at its Vision City sales office, said PNG Air started the promotion on Nov 5, 2015 and it was about thanking customers.
The winners include Fred, Maryanne Pokawin, Joseph Anaga, Betty Ernest and Yokonala Komiend.
“For the infant, the person who purchased the ticket will get the winning ticket,” Nakikus said.
The winners were drawn from 8,000, tickets which were purchased last month.
“For the November’s PNG Air birthday bash, we had our birthday on Nov 5, we wanted to celebrate with the public and put this promotion on to give five lucky customers that extra financial support because of the situation that we are going through right now with Covid-19, people need to send their families home, but they don’t have finances at the moment,” she said.
