AN internet service provider in Lae is targeting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Morobe.
MyNet, a wireless internet service provider operating under Food Mart Ltd aims to provide packages which are affordable and available for customers anytime under the budget-dedicated internet service package.
The launching was done on Tuesday with more than 200 customers from businesses in Lae city.
Sales and Marketing leader Gabriel Lauya said MyNet was setting up towers in selected locations in Lae for the convenience of clients to access their signals.
“We are trying to make smaller companies to have access to dedicated internet and not just shared or prepaid service but a service that is available all the time like any other bigger company is using,” he said.
Lauya said MyNet was trying to provide a service that was accessible to everyone and not just those who had the capacity to have that access.
“We have hopes to broaden this service to include more people in rural areas in the future to provide opportunities for the rural folks,” he said.
