AN investigation into alleged misuse of K24 millioin at the National Statistics Office (NSO) under the leadership of suspended statistician Roko Koloma is complete and with the Department of Personnel Management (DPM), Chief Secretary Isaac Lupari says.
He said this yesterday in response to concerns raised by National Planning Minister Richard Maru over delay in presenting the investigation report to cabinet for deliberation and a permanent appointment of a national statistician.
“The investigation was completed four weeks ago and it’s with the Department of Personal Management to process it in consultation with the Department of Justice and Attorney-General before it is presented to the National Executive Council (NEC),” Lupari said.
