Isou settle on final 31 for season

FOLLOWING successful trial games on Sunday, the Gulf Isou camp goes into full training for the Digicel Cup today at the Bava Park in Port Moresby.
Gulf Isou were given the nod ahead of the former provincial franchise, Gulf Isapea in the 10-team competition this season.
Gulf Isapea entered the semi-professional competition in 2012 but did not play in the last season.
The other new entrant, Simbu Warriors returned to the fold after being dissolved several years ago and replaced TNA Lions who did not bid for the 2018 season.
Both new franchises were supported in their bids by their respective provincial governments.
Gulf Isou chairman Mai Ori said yesterday that the team would start training this afternoon and those who failed to turn up would be automatically dropped from the 31-man squad. The squad: Ilave Sapea, Robert Mase, Michael Arava, Michael Yanis, Peter Soi, Stanis Susuve, Jonathan Mefaramu, Tore Mitaharo, Junior Arava, John Horope, Obert Mur, Solomon Pukar, Joshua Thomas, Moha Torea, Japeth Olik, Samson Pirika, Moses Okopela, Demas Kenny, Jonah Bob, Francis Aihi, Eugene Forova, Ross Ravu, Billie Johnson, Kennedy Eme, Joel Torombe, Benji Kot, David Sevese, Andie Luke Jnr, Aigiru John, Joshua Koivi, Sam Lokoloko.
