Jiwaka donates 100 seedlings

THE Jiwaka forestry office distributed more than 100 seedlings to schools and a hospital to mark World Forestry Day or International Day of Forests on Tuesday.
Pupndui and his officers visited Kimil Primary School, Fatima Primary School and Kudjip Nazarene Hospital, and donated seedlings of eucalyptus and bottle brush.
About 50 eucalyptus seedlings were given to Kimil and Fatima and 60 bottle brush seedlings were given to the hospital.
“More seedlings would be donated during World Environment Day.”
