Justices Tusais, Berrigan reappointed to posts they held

JUSTICE Paul Kima Tusais has been reappointed acting National Court judge for 12 months while Justice Teresa Berrigan was reappointed for another three years.
Both were sworn in yesterday in Port Moresby by Governor-General Sir Bob Dadae.
Justice Barrigan is a lawyer with more than 20 years post-qualification experience.
Justice Berrigan has 15 years’ experience as a prosecutor in Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.
She served as an adviser to the Ombudsman Commission and other non-governmental organisations in PNG from 2005 to 2010.
She was sworn in as a National and Supreme Court judge in August, 2018.
Justice Paul has been acting judge for 12 months.
He was reappointed as an acting judge of the National Court for another 12 months.
He was accompanied by his wife Paula and daughters Maryanne and Shereene.
