K500,000 classroom for Telefomin

TELEFOMIN MP Solan Mirisim says investing in education remains the top priority for the district.
“Conducive and modern school infrastructure contributes to qualify education which I am keen to see being achieved,” he said during the recent opening of a double classroom at Munbil’s Difakbil Primary School in Telefomin, West Sepik.
The classroom was built at a cost of K500,000.
“Within six months, the contractor delivered the project,” Mirisim said.
Mirisim said he was proud that for the first time, the children of Munbil will use a modern facility for their learning.
He committed to build another two double classroom and six staff houses. Mirisim said a junior high school, costing K5 million, would be built at Ibil to serve the children of Yapsie.
