GUESTS at the K500 million Stanley Hotel and Suites have been assured the best facilities and service during their stay in Port Moresby.
It offers 429 rooms and apartments – about three times the number other major hotels in the country have, according to general manager Geoff Haigh.
“The hotel is open to everyone. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you work,” he said.
He said the “biggest business here is either Government or corporate” clients.
The hotel has a view of Parliament House, the Sir John Guise Stadium and the Waigani government offices.
It is joined to the Vision City Mega Mall which guests can easily access.
The five-star hotel has a spacious lobby with beautiful marble columns with chandeliers overhead.
The ground level has the Rainforest Café and Green House Restaurant with three more restaurants to open before the end of the year.
Guests will also be able to shop in the retail centre.
Also open is the Monsoon Bar with two more bars to be opened soon to provide the best facilities, service and the most relaxing atmosphere for guests and locals.
Conferences and events are catered for at the second level which had 14 conference rooms that can cater for more than 1500 individuals.
Guests at the hotel can also access a well-equipped Health Club gym at the fifth level that opens to a lounge and pool area with a brilliant open view of the surrounding area.
