K60 million claim seen as not godly

Letters

AN article titled “Father and son want justice for time in jail” (The National, December 19) caught me off guard to see the father demanding K60 million from the state when he proclaimed that God had freed him for something he had not done.
While I share the same concern as the father for being convicted of a crime he did not commit, I disagree with him for demanding K60 million after saying God had freed him.
If you say God freed you for free, then why demand money again?
This is blasphemy at its best.
