Kagua-Erave MP deserves better

Letters

KAGUA-Erave MP Westley Raminai mentioned that he had heard the cries of his people and rejoined the Government.
We the people of Kagua-Erave would like to rebut his statement.
The Opposition currently has the number to form an alternate government. Why did he rejoin government that does not have the numbers to maintain power?
Prime Minister James Marape gave him the ministerial post-minister assisting prime minister.
This portfolio is a mockery and laughing stock to the people of Kagua-Erave.
Raminai held the vice-minister portfolio from the O’Neill regime and continued to the Marape regime.
Marape did not even accord Raminai with a full ministry.
Even when Raminai rejoined the Government (with no numbers), Marape quickly accorded him as minister assisting the prime minister.
Come on, stop using Raminai as a football.
Give him a well-deserved ministry instead of vice and assisting ministry.

  • TheNational and your EDITOR,
Why are you filtering letters only for the positive story about the govt and not the opposition? This is a democratic country and let our voices be heard.
Are you being funded by this current govt? Tok stret! Sapos nogat, be fair to everyone!

  • IF THE KAGUA ERAVE MEMBER HAS A HEAD AND CAN THINK AS A GROWN MAN, HE WILL MOVE TO WHERE HIS PRESENCE IS VALUED.

IF NOT, HE CAN BE A BRIEFCASE SUITCASE CARRIER FOR MARAPE.
