Kids loitering

THE increasing number of kids loitering in towns and cities is the result of unplanned marriage, a pastor says.
Seventh-Day Adventist Church Pastor Leroy Nosi said it all went back to the parents and the choices they made when they were young.
“These innocent children have parents but they are victims of bad choices made by their parents,” Nosi said.
“Many of those kids’ parents are not formally married and that is why they find it difficult to take care of their children.
“Some of these kids are born unexpectedly and a mistake in their relationship so on many occasions, the father may be seen abandoning the mother and the kid.”
Nosi said the conclusion that one may draw from this is they were either too young or they had no plan to have children when it happened.
He said because of the pleasure that they found in this life from sleeping together, the kids were born and there was no one to take care of them.
“They may be seen given to their grandparents, but when they (grandparents) are not able to take care of them, they end up on the streets like that.”
Nosi said children were blessings from God and parents had the responsibility to take care of them.
“The blame is on us the parents. There is no such thing as homeless kids, every children has a home but we are making our children homeless by neglecting them.
