A 19-year-old female from Central was named Caritas Technical Secondary School (CTSS) top business studies student.
Norah Kila was one of the best performing students during the school’s 23 graduation ceremony.
“Despite all the challenges with social media and peer pressure that I have been facing, I managed to overcome them by studying hard and making it through,” she said.
Kila said this achievement became possible through hard working and perseverance.
She acknowledged God and her parents for making things possible for her to achieve her goal.
“There is nothing too hard for us but it needs hard work and commitment.
“If I can do it, you can do it, too,” she told other students her speech.
Caritas Technical Secondary School was first established in 1995 to give second chance at education opportunities to female students.
Over the years the school has developed into one of the best girls technical colleges in the country.
