Kina Bank gains new customers in campaign

KINA Bank has been carrying out a sales and marketing campaign to increase the number of its customers.
Bank workers have been visiting companies in Port Moresby to help employees who want to open new accounts register.
The bank’s approach is to make the process of setting up an account fast and simple for new customers.
Existing customers can expand their banking services with Kina Bank too, according to Kina Bank Harbour City mobile branch distribution agent Ryan Giu.
He was at The National head office in Port Moresby, yesterday with a team from the bank to register new customers from employees of the Pacific Star Limited.
Kina Bank chief executive officer Greg Pawson said the expansions of the mobile banking and distribution services were part of its corporate vision to be PNG’s leading digital bank.
He mentioned earlier that the bank was investing in technology and focusing on customer experiences, as it was developing and expanding its services and the reach of its service delivery to its customers and people wanting to change banks.
Giu said the Kina Bank was aware of the “long lines” in banks.
Kina Bank put a team together to target companies around Port Moresby for employees to open new accounts.
Gui said his team had also visited companies and institutions in the city including the PNG Defence Force, Port Moresby International School and Air Niugini.
Kina Bank will continue to visit other companies in the next few months.
