Kina Investment workers end training

A GROUP of 35 employees of the Kina Investment Superannuation Services Limited has completed the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia training and development programmes.
The company is Kina Securities’ fund administration division.
Kina Group chief executive officer Syd Yates (pictured) said: “Human capital development and exposing our employees to international training programmes is a priority for the Group which we continue to provide to support our employees in their learning and development so they achieve world’s best practise both personally and professionally.”
Kina Wealth general manager Adam Fenech said: “This is a great achievement for our employees as exposing them to such training programmes will improve and enhance their skills and help us ensure the services we provide to the PNG superannuation industry are of an international standard.”
The ASFA is the peak policy, research and advocacy body for Australia’s superannuation industry.
Its purpose is to help achieve best retirement outcomes for members of superannuation funds through development of good public policy and industry best practise.
The training programmes included:
n Super Foundations: the ideal induction course for new entrants to the superannuation industry, focuses on how super works and how the industry operates;
n RG146 Superannuation Essentials: the superannuation industry’s premier compliance course focusing on generic knowledge and superannuation-specialist knowledge needed to give general advice in superannuation to the superfund members;
n Diploma of Superannuation: the highest qualification for the superannuation industry and focused on all aspects of superannuation.
