Kokofas edge Nuggets in Central league

GYG Estate Kokofas’ determination earned them an 8-4 win over the Goilala Nuggets side in their Central Province Premier Rugby League women’s match at the Murray Barracks Oval on Sunday.
The Kokofas were pushed hard by the Nuggets.
The Gordon side was taken by surprise when the Nuggets scored first through halfback Priscilla David for a 4-0 lead.
Kokofas retaliated through centre Barbara Semoso who barged through three defenders to equalise 4-4.
In the second half, Kokofas prop Joyce Wai crashed over for the city women to lead by four points.
