Kokopo students prepare for third annual expo

MORE than 300 students from a technical training school in Kokopo, East New Britain, are preparing to host their third annual exposition.
The students from the NetComp PNG Training Institute will hold a one day expo at the Rabaul International School hall on Sept 29, showcasing some of the things they have been learning. Ronny Vate, the institute’s training facilitator, said the expo was for the students to show the public what they had been learning and conduct awareness on the institute’s programmes.
“This will be the third year of doing the expo,” Vate said.
“Students from all our seven departments will be showcasing what they’ve been learning. We provide certificate and diploma courses with 40 per cent of the courses done in theory and 60 per cent practical.
“We believe quality learning is achieved through practical means.”
