Kone Storm to face neighbouring Hawks in main clash

UNBEATEN Kone Storm and Hanuabada Hawks will lock horns in the Port Moresby Rugby League A grade top-of-the-table clash at the National Football Stadium oval two tomorrow.
Storm are leading the 12-team competition on eight points and Hawks on seven points are early pacesetters after round four.
The men from Konedobu, who handed Gulf West a 30-12 hiding on Sunday, are on a high have been boosted with the inclusion of Hela Wigmen’s Terence Wemin, Caleb Sond, Simon Ben, utility Ben Fege, Gaga Kom, Steven Jack and Christopher Kitu.
Hawks beat Butterflies 20-12 with the support of Port Moresby Vipers recruit Tommy Moide and Wigman Patrick Morea as well as Aia Heni, Boge Moide Jr, Is Raho, centre John Noel, Nathan Larry and Goasa Damena.
In the main encounter, Kone Tigers will face reigning champions Hohola Flies while Defence should give Gulf West a run for their money on Sunday, before Paga Panthers take on Tarangau. Dobo Warriors will face off with Butterflies today.
Meanwhile in the women’s competition, reigning champions Paga Panthers will have a tough task of containing Tarangau on Sunday.
