Kramer should respect ruling

Letters

I AM stunned by Justice Minister Bryan Kramer’s reaction on the recent court ruling against Police Commissioner David Manning regarding his appointment to the commissioner’s post and Police Department secretary.
Kramer’s prompt response in a matter of hours on Facebook raises a lot of questions.
There are other important things to address.
There are a lot of law and order issues that he can look at.
There are many outdated laws in his ministry that needs attention such as the District Court Acts, the Summary Offences Act, the death penalty and the much-anticipated amendments to our drug laws and others.
He should not choose laws to entertain agendas that will not benefit the people.
Manning has to be commended for his performance during his term and the next person to fill that void should carry on from there.
Kramer should respect the rule of law and the court who made the decision to correct this flaw in the appointment process.
