Lahari grateful for firm’s support of sports in Gulf

THE Gulf Provincial Sports Trust (GPST) is pleased to have Mayur Resources support their plans to develop sports in the province.
GPST chief executive Lawrence Lahari said that after Mayur Resources sponsored the first Gulf school games at Malalaua last month.
“Mayur Resources have been in Gulf for quite some time and they are passionate about giving back to the community through sports,” he said.
“Their commitment to sponsor the games was their first commitment to sports in the province and we are in talks for a long-term partnership.”
The games saw competitions in netball and athletics.
Lahari said it was the first step to unearthing raw talent.
