LAMANA must start winning its games to stay in contention in the Port Moresby Women Super League soccer competition.
Currently sitting at the bottom of the point ladder, Lamana has a big job when they play two matches this weekend.
Experienced players in Eric Ambang and Jacquie Simon should take the lead when they front up a young POMSOE side on Saturday, and later
on Sunday, they will meet their match in Yamaros.
The young POMSOE outfit is full of energy and certainly will give Lamana a run for their money.
Debra Taylor who had an impressive game against University should lead the Port Moresby Soccer School of Excellence (POMSOE) onslaught on the flanks.
In the other women’s game, Spartans should secure three points when they meat Pikini Sepiks Ruts.
The Manusians have been recruiting well over during the season and are posing a major threat to other women’s team.
YMC who will be playing two games also on the weekend will face University in the 11.40am match and later in the afternoon, they size it up with Guria 3.30pm football match.
The point ladder as of last weekend is as follows: Mungkas 20, Guria 15, University 14 Yamaros 12, Spartans 12, Pikinini Sepik  Ruts 9, Port Moresby School of Excellence 6, Lamana 3 and YMC 0.
