Landowner issue

THE Juha PDL 9 Landowners’ Association Inc acknowledges the appointment of Gai Pope as the chairman, clan-vetting.
From Hela, he is well versed in the complex genealogy of Hela tribes and clans living in the project area of Muller Range.
Pope’s wealth of experiences in the Oil and Gas Sector Act relates back to his time as the country manager for InterOil.
His leading role behind the scenes benefitted both the developer and the landowners.
As a result there were no major landowner issues in the Moran Project area.
We also express our appreciation to Petroleum Minister Fabian Pok for his statement in a recent newspaper article that as minister responsible his priorities would be landowners.
In this instance, we would like the ministry to focus on reviewing the LNG UBSA and LLBSA agreements, payment of outstanding royalties and MOU projects (IDG) and make relevant amendments to the Oil & Gas Act.
