Lawlessness in Hela needs addressing

I SHARE the sentiments raised by John, Howard and Henry about lawlessness.
This is a serious issue that continues to paint a negative image of Hela.
Whose job is it to stop these tribal fights with modern weapons?
In the past, the death of one person in Hela was always big news.
Now, one death is not news.
It has become normal.
Now, a massacre of people is news.
The provincial government and its administration appears to have fallen short.
Are they worried about themselves?
Police and soldiers in Hela have also fallen short because of lack of proper operational orders or other issues.
The continuous massacre of humans at an alarming rate cannot be swept under the carpet now.
Thousands of people, especially women and children, are now becoming refugees in Hela.
Schools, health centres, churches, businesses and livelihoods are all being affected.
Hela is in total disarray.
When will this cycle of violence be broken?
The prime minister, through the NEC, has to declare a state of emergency in Hela and flush out all warlords and weapons.
Appoint a tough controller and give him K20mil to kick start the operation.
Give everyone one month surrender their weapons and warlords to surrender themselves.
Let the long powerful arm of government be felt in Hela.
When negotiations, tolerance and peaceful processes fail, a heavy-handed tactic may be only option left.
Enough is enough, take action!
During the 2017 campaign, my number seven standing principle policy was to make Hela become the land of law-abiding citizens.
Remember, evil will triumph when a good man does nothing.
Can I propose that all the elites of Hela sign a petition for the National Government to act on this lawlessness in Hela?
