They propose to protest against the intrusion into the judiciary of the government.
He said the lawyers decided to put out an advertisement in the media and stage a protest in front of the courthouse. He said the lawyers were serious and concerned about what happened.
Gamoga said the lawyers in Port Moresby had also come up with a similar plan.
They plan to protest in front of the court house tomorrow, Friday June 1.
He said as lawyers, it was their responsibility as officers of the court to uphold the law.
“The Court is a place that must be respected by everyone. It is a place where the public come to solve their problems and therefore must be respected and appreciated by everyone including the leaders,” said Gamoga.
