Leaders initiate rule

THE Kunabau leaders in Kerowagi, Chimbu, have banned homebrew and marijuana in their area.
Leaders representing more than 10,000 people in the four council wards of the Gena-Waugla local level government passed a resolution to ban illegal substances during their meeting last week after the death of paramount chief Otto Vitus Wal.
The leaders from Waugla Muguaku, Sambugla, Kombuku and Yagemaugo Nem tribes passed the resolution to honour Wal.
