Leading from the front

Letters

DURING this difficult period, some people in both the private and public sectors work tirelessly to address the country’s development challenges.
One that leads this selfless, relentless and committed group at the helm is our good prime minister and member for Ialibu Pangia, Peter O’Neill.
He is a workaholic who puts everything into leading the nation from the front against the tide of developmental challenges and negative criticism.
He never takes politics personally.
Look at his achievements, vertically and horizontally, since he took over as prime minister and you will be amazed.
Backed by a credible team in the PNC-led government, he has surpassed any achievement scored by past governments.
The size and complexities of developments the country has been experiencing since he took over the reins is just starting to get better, with more on the way.
We are too consumed with our little personal lives that we miss seeing the big picture.
Either you keep shouting and remain where you are or get the basics right by being responsible.
We must all by now appreciate the fact that O’Neill, of all people, deserves our respect.
You are all entitled to play politics but pay respect where respect is due instead of trying to sell lies and deceits to confuse the public.
