THIS is open Letter to the Minister for National Planning Richard Maru.
Since last year we (Kambu LLG, Wosera Gawi) have heard that the Department of Agriculture and Livestock supported our oil palm project. Funding of the first K15 million awaits your direction to be released to our landowner company Green Gold Valley Ltd.
This money is for the people to register their ILG (352 ILG formed already), do social mapping/clan vetting, every member within the 25 Wards to apply for NID and to mobilise the ILG within our LLG.
Can you tell us especially those people who are freeing their kunai grassland to develop Oil Palm and other biofuel project what is happening?
