Please explan procedure:
THIS is an open letter to Road Transport Authority to explain to us the penalty of driving cars with expired license or expired safety sticker or expired car registration?
If I am caught in a road block by police officers because of absent of one the above element, should the officers impound my car on the spot or issue me a Traffic Infringement Notice (TIN) and allow me some days to look for money and pay the fine? What will happen to my car in this scenario? Do I take my car with TIN and come and pay the fine? Can RTA explain this procedure? How does it work out well for both parties? I am raising this question because many a times, the officers take the car and later are seen driving the car around as if they own the car. Even officers who take the car, ransack and take whatever they able to find in the boot or even inside. These officers conducting road blocks cannot be trusted. Please explain the procedure so that we are aware and will take from there as a guide.
