Regulation woes:
Government’s push for small-to-medium-enterprises (SME) is a way forward for the country’s economic growth. . A particular SME was established a few years ago and it has grown from strength to strength. The company’s growth is the result of sales of some of its beverage products and others. My question to the Government is: does it have policies to regulate alcohol volume in beverage production?

Changes wanted:
Concerning the improved results of Grade 12 in the national examinations, the Southern Highlands provincial education board needs to be totally changed from the top level down to the cleaner’s positions. A few schools that came up recently raised our flag. We were very proud of it. Careless and unwanted changes by the education board put everything down the drain.

Lower tax:
The teachers in PNG are happy with the Government for the leadership under Peter O’Niell. However, the Government’s 3 per cent increment is a slap on the face with the tax that is robbing us, including other public servants. Can this Government through the Public Service Minister call for a review of the tax laws? I called on parliamentarians to address this issue in the next Parliament, session, because without teachers you won’t be who you are.
