Licensed firearm holders warned

National Capital District-Central commander Assistant Commissioner Sylvester Kalaut (pictured) has warned licensed firearm holders to take extreme care when handling their weapons.
Kalaut said firearms were dangerous and urged licensed firearm holder to take care when using it.
“Firearms are dangerous objects,” he told The National yesterday.
“And they can cause severe harm to other citizens.
“I encourage all licensed firearm holders to take extreme care when using firearms.
“When a person is in possession of a firearm, the duty of care is on him or her to exercise for the safety of other people.”
He said it is a dangerous item.
“It is a dangerous item that can cause imminent danger to human life.”
