LIQUOR outlets operating in Western Highlands have been urged not to pay their trading license fees to the provincial government as of today until a full board is in place, Mt Hagen mayor Jacob Michael says.
Michael, who heads the liquor licensing, law and order, physical planning and lands boards on the provincial executive council said the provincial administration needed to have its boards in place before they could execute their responsibilities.
He said they were also trying to close down illegal outlets and allow hotels and lodges to operate.
